What’s the difference between mixing and mastering?

How long does mixing and mastering take?

Mixing typically takes 8-12 hours per song, while mastering is usually completed in 1-2 hours. For albums or larger projects, more time may be required to ensure each track gets the attention it deserves.

Can you mix and master a song that’s already recorded?

Yes! I can mix and master your pre-recorded tracks to bring them to their full potential. Just send me your high-quality files, and I’ll work to make them sound cohesive and polished.

How should I prepare my tracks for mixing and mastering?

For mixing, send each track as a separate high-quality WAV file (24-bit, 48kHz or 44.1kHz). For mastering, provide a single stereo WAV file of the final mix. Make sure your tracks are free from distortion, clipping, or unwanted effects.
